So, if you followed any of the story and flavour stuff I wrote (everyone did, right?)  also the name of the set is Return to the Accordlands >.>   Anyway, the Accordlands were overrun by Legion and his Abyssals...

One of the problems with Abyssals is that they have a pretty distinct look and there's only a handful in the entire game. However, out of the first Abyssals, only Shadowreaver was really good. Nightclaw, Skincrawler and golgoth are not that great, especially at the current power level. Zhul is okay, but nothing special.  Anyway, I chose to use the original Abyssal art for that reason, and because I think they are fantastic artwork. However, in many ways these are more like power ups (or downs) rather than completely new characters. There levels didn't change much and some kept very similar abilities, so using these Abyssals with the old ones could lead to some confusion.

Mercenaries.
So, for a long time there have been discussions of allowing a mulligan in warlord, or a sideboard, and other such things. This may or may not be the best solution, but it is the least invasive solution.  So, if you would like a mulligan, you take a hit on offensive level 2 characters. It might be worth it for you though.

Korra is another character that reacts from hand, acting as anti card draw meta.

Vythia is a level 1 you want to play from hand usually. Although decks that rely on the poison mechanic are often considered underwhelming, if nothing else she has +4atk and 14 ac against melee strikes for the first turn she's in play, which is quite good for elves.
